What can you do in Andalo in the winter?
The Paganella Skiarea offers a ski circuit with over 50 km of slopes and interconnected, modern lifts. The entire area is assisted by a programmed snowmaking system that ensures that there is always snow.
The ski area can meet the needs of all types of skiers, with easy, medium, and high difficulty slopes. We would like to remind you that our Olympic Slope and the new Iana Granda slope have been chosen by the American and Norwegian National Ski Team as a training slope.
Don’t know what to do in Andalo in the winter with children? No problem, the little ones can learn how to ski in the four learning camps (two of which are located in the town and two at high altitude). They can also have fun at the two large Kindergartens (Gaggia Park with its Biblioigloo and Baby Park Dosson).
For cross-country ski enthusiasts, at Andalo Life there is a 3 km ring trail lit at night and a more challenging 5 km ring trail that winds its way through a spectacular fir forest.
Snow holidays in Paganella don’t mean that you have to know how to ski! You can even access the lifts on foot to reach the numerous refuges and enjoy an aperitif at high altitude along with local dishes accompanied by an excellent glass of Teroldego. Not to be missed is the top experience of the hearty breakfast at dawn on the Paganella Peak, where you can greet the rising sun as it lights up the peaks of the Brenta Dolomites in red.
In Andalo, you can discover the region through the numerous snowshoe excursions that let you walk along the snow-covered paths, reaching the most hidden corners of our forests, entering the magical environment of the forest covered in white.
What can you do in Andalo in the summer?
Is Andalo a perfect location for all 4 seasons? Don’t know what to do in Andalo in the summer? We are here to provide you with some helpful advice! In summer you can enjoy an active holiday enjoying nature, sports, and entertainment. Andalo is the starting point for many paths that wind through the Brenta peaks, guaranteeing the possibility of excursions of all levels, from easy panoramic walks to discover the Alpine Cottages and refuges to high altitude hiking and climbing on majestic walls intended for only the most expert. From the Brenta peaks to the plateaus, there are breathtaking panoramas that encompass the entire Trentino region, like Garda Lake and the nearby Molveno Lake, without a doubt among the most beautiful lakes in Trentino.
Bikers can find one of the best bike resorts in Europe here.
There are three Bike Zones (downhill-freeride-flow) connected by trails and lifts, singletrack paths (intermediate - expert), three pump tracks, and the most beautiful Skill Area in Europe. You will also find MTB itineraries for all levels and disciplines, easy paths on dirt roads and in the woods, and nearby bicycle paths on the valley floor.
For those who want to experience excitement, we recommend a tandem paragliding flight over Lake Molveno. What a thrill to take advantage of the rising thermal currents like a Dolomite eagle and fly free near the vertical walls and above the clear waters of the “Sea of the Dolomites”. But that’s not all. Adventurers can cross the sky, suspended among the clouds, on the Ferrate delle Aquile (Eagles’ via ferrata), one of the most popular via ferratas among mountaineers. This is a favourite destination in the summer season, which is loved because it evokes indescribable and unforgettable emotions in those courageous enough to tackle it. The Paganella Eagles’ via ferrata is a spectacular and exciting equipped route, where accompaniment by mountain guides is recommended. They will be able to tell you the secrets of this route and the incredible landscape that surrounds it, in complete safety.
